Q2. WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Ans : Hypnotherapy is simply a process by which a trained hypnotist effects changes in thoughts, attitudes, behaviors, and emotions through suggestions, stories, metaphors, guided imagery, and creative visualization, during a state of hypnosis. And although it is sometimes used in psychotherapy, hypnosis is most often used to help ordinary people with everyday problems.
Q3. CAN I BE HYPNOTIZED?
Ans : Yes, very likely, so. Nearly anyone can be hypnotized. People of very low intelligence, very young children and people with certain mental illnesses typically cannot be hypnotized. Conversely, people of higher intelligence tend to more easily go into hypnosis. However, even though the vast majority of people can be hypnotized, some people – due to their deep-seated psychological need to be in control – are so resistant to hypnosis that it makes it virtually impossible. The short answer is: since all hypnosis is essentially self-hypnosis, with few exceptions, nearly anyone that wants to go into hypnosis can go into hypnosis.

Ans : Despite its long history of success in helping people to make positive life changes, hypnosis, hypnotism and hypnotherapy are sometimes misunderstood by the general public. These misconceptions are typically the result of how hypnosis is often portrayed in films, television and stage shows, which often involves the concept of “mind-control.” But that is not the reality of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. There is really no such thing as “mind-control” in hypnosis since all hypnosis is essentially self-hypnosis and no one can be compelled to do things under hypnosis that they are not predisposed to do in a typical conscious state.
